CUMMINS, JAMES AUSTIN; mother’s maiden name was Summendyde, m. Maria
Hake, ch.: William, Flora, Elma (m. William C. Abernathy), Lucia Phoebe
(m. John Franklin Wingfield—ch.: Pat & Mabel), Ida Anthony (m. A.
Wingfield Leonard)—Flora & Ida both bur. Wagoner Cem., Laura, Mayme (.
Maarvin E. Gorman, lived Mansfield---she was an artist), Elmer, ?James
(. 8/4/1921, home, east Salem, bur Cedar Grove Cem.); from Dublin,
Ireland; to Dent Co. from Warren OH---he made 3 trips back and forth
before staying in Dent Co.---a violinist who traveled with Jenny Lind

Dent Co. before moving to Hartville; sister to: Margaret Arminta “Mint”
(m. John Henry Taylor, bur. Rector Cem), Laura Ann (m. Hamlet Clark,
bur. Cedar Grove Cem.), Lou Johnson (Hartville), Lib Nichols
(Hartville), Saul (d. young, m. Mary M. Carver, 1873---Mary M. later m.
John E. Thompson, 1894, Dent Co. by G. W. Bay, J.P.), Quimbey(d. young,
m. Anna Carver who later m. Samuel B. Young, 1882, Dent Co.), Levina (m.
William Potts, 1870, Dent Co.); Hake Family lived Cleveland OH, to Dent
Co. c1870; Mrs Hake’s maiden name was Workman (German descent)

CUMMINS, ELMER s/o James A. & Maria; d. inf.

CUMMINS, LAURA d/o James A. & Maria; never md.

CUMMINS, WILLIAM; D. 9/27/1895 at home of father, James, bur. family
graveyard near the residence (in East Salem)

*This cemetery is now lost, it was located on Pat & Mabel Wingfield’s
property---Mabel said she thought Grandpa & Grandma Hake were bur.
here---others say they had moved to Hartville.
